DKI Jakarta Provincial Regulation No. 12 of 2003 on Road Traffic and Road Transportation, Railways, Rivers and Lakes and crossings in the province of Jakarta Transportation Council mandated the
establishment of the City. The vision of this Board is to become an independent and trusted institution in terms of policy development sustainable transport systems in the Province of Jakarta, while its mission is to realize the role of the community for the establishment of transparency in the development of a sustainable transportation system policy.
