Lowongan kerja terbaru 2012 ~ The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is seeking individual for the position of Translator for the DS/ ATA office in Bogor and Consular Investigations Assistant in the Consular Section with following qualifications.Translator/ Interpreter
Basic Function of Position
* The incumbent carries out direct written translation (English to Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Indonesia to English) and oral (simultaneous and consecutive) interpretation of lesson material. S/ He provides interpretation for DS/ ATA staff, instructors and Indonesian National Police officers.
Qualifications Required

* At least college degree in Management, Administration, English, or related field is required.
* At least 2 (two) years experience in translation and interpreting (English to Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Indonesia to English) is required.
* Level IV (Fluent) speaking/ reading/ writing in English and Bahasa Indonesia are required. Must be able to comprehend and follow complex oral instructions and written guidance. Ability to draft basic memoranda and correspondence. Language proficiency will be tested.
* Must have knowledge of law enforcement terminology, INP acronyms as well as specific terminology relating to firearms, ammunition and explosive, and computer cyber crimes.
* Must be self-motivating and able to work with little/ to no supervision.
* Must have computer proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office environments.
* Salary: ordinarily resident: Rp. 91,768,705 - p.a.

Consular Investigations Assistant - Jakarta
Basic Function of Position
* The incumbent will be the Fraud Prevention Assistant for the Consular Section. As such, s/ he will assist with fraud investigations in relation to nonimmigrant and immigrant visa cases, as well as passport and citizenship cases. S/ He will organize the Fraud Prevention Unit files, conduct employment verification checks, research fraud trends, and schedule fraud interviews.
Qualifications Required
* All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.
* Minimum High School diploma education is required.
* At least two years of progressively responsible experience in work involving the application of regulatory material and extensive and successful public contact is required.
* Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) speaking/ reading/ writing in English and Level 4 (Fluent) speaking/ reading/ writing in Bahasa Indonesia are required. Language proficiency will be tested.
* Must be comfortable working with the public, capable of responding with courtesy under stressful condition. Must be able to solicit information from strangers. Must be an analytical thinker.
* Must be comfortable working on computers in a Windows environment. Proficiency with computer office applications products and the internet is required.
* Salary: ordinarily resident: Rp. 91,768,705 - p.a.
